Our client is the Hungarian subsidiary of a family driven German Group. The Group’s main areas of expertise are automation solutions, special-purpose machinery and fixture construction, process control and control technology connections, high-level language-based development of user interfaces (GUIs, HMIs and mobile apps), Web and/or database-based applications and software interfaces for industrial use.


After noticing that orders concerning the commissioning and retrofitting of plants in Hungary were becoming more and more frequent, the Group founded a subsidiary in Hungary 5 years ago. In Hungary, the Group provides technical software support in the fields of control technology, process technology and plant availability.


The firm offers talented professionals with a strong interest in manufacturing IT Digitalization and Industry 4.0 the opportunity to work in its international expert team in the field of service provision, consulting and implementation of MES solutions as a PLC Engineer. Candidates can decide whether they would prefer working in Budapest or Hatvan. In addition to Budapest or Hatvan, our client is also searching for PLC Engineers for Germany.



• Supporting local production lines

• Testing and documenting of the implemented PLC application software

• Designing, implementing and commissioning of PLC application software

• Software commissioning, troubleshooting



• Degree of electrical engineer or similar

• Min. 3 years of experience

• Work experience in the automotive industry would be an advantage

• Proficiency in IEC61131 PLC programming languages (Bosch OES, Bosch-Rexroth, Beckhoff, Siemens S7)

• Broad electrical knowledge of machine hardware

• Fieldbus experience (Profi-Bus, Ethernet, EtherCAT)

• Robot programming experience is an advantage

• PC and general software knowledge

• Experience in EPLAN electrical design is an advantage

• Good communication skills

• Team spirit, willingness to learn, ability to work independently

• English or German written and spoken
