Our client is the Hungarian subsidiary of a family driven German Group. The Group’s main areas of expertise are automation solutions, special-purpose machinery and fixture construction, process control and control technology connections, high-level language-based development of user interfaces (GUIs, HMIs and mobile apps), Web and/or database-based applications and software interfaces for industrial use.


After noticing that orders concerning the commissioning and retrofitting of plants in Hungary were becoming more and more frequent, the Group founded a subsidiary in Hungary 5 years ago. In Hungary, the Group provides technical software support in the fields of control technology, process technology and plant availability.


The firm offers talented professionals with a strong interest in manufacturing IT Digitalization and Industry 4.0 the opportunity to work in its international expert team in the field of service provision, consulting and implementation of MES solutions as an MES Engineer. Candidates can decide whether they would prefer working in Budapest or Hatvan. In addition to Budapest or Hatvan, our client is also searching for an MES Engineer for Germany.


• Set up and preparation of servers for the deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

• Development, testing and roll-out of software modules and service packs for line controls. The configurations might cover entire automatic lines with many stations and of major impact

• Provision of technical support and bug fixing for Bosch systems

• Consultancy, design and commissioning of MES solutions in an international environment


• Min. a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronic or automation technology or equivalent

• Have at least 3 years of work experience in engineering, programming and automatization or in related fields

• Has knowledge in XML communication

• Is acquainted with SQL databases (planning, administration and analysis)

• Has knowledge in Client / Server architectures

• Has some experiences in higher level programming languages

• Is highly engaged in self-development and learning new things

• Is able to work independently and very concentrated hence the daily work is done in an operating manufacturing environment with huge economic impact

• English or German - professional working proficiency with the emphasis on technical English

• Is able to communicate with foreign customers, suppliers

The ideal candidate has already worked in positions such as:

o Database administrator

o Engineer/Technician for Automatization

o PLC programmer

o Microsoft Certified Engineer (MSCE)

o Software developer with the focus on informatics solutions in manufacturing plants

o Additional degree IPMA (Level D or higher) is an advantage
